"Leading the charge is MSI with the Wind Top AE1900...Ideal, if desktop space is at a premium and you aren't intending to do any hard-core computing, just basic office work and web surfing, MSI's AE1900 is powered by a version of the standard processor fitment for a netbook, namely Intel's Atom, in this case the 1.6GHz Atom 230...9 aspect ratio screen isn't bad but does suffer from its relatively low native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, something that is particularly shown up when looking at text, which tends to look a little blurred...If you find yourself failing to to grips with the touch-screen part of the AE1900 then fear not..." read more »

"You could easily (and economically) upgrade the CS120 to a 500GB or larger capacity desktop hard drive...Both have capabilities similar to those of the CS120 and are in the same price range...The CS120 uses about 29W when idle and about 34W when running benchmark tests, so it's energy efficient...There is some good news with this system: no crapware..." read more »

"Sure, there are other good small factor form PCs like the one by Soltek, however, they’re more of an XPC clone than anything else...To beat Shuttle, something more than what an XPC is capable of has to be designed- something more functional, maybe more expandable and possibly better looking..." read more »

"Have to affix your own sticker over the fake firewire port on the front, had to replace the cover over the DVD drive with another they provide...The cons are annoyances, not show stoppers, but I won't be buying another one of these...Overall it's a great build so far; quiet and stable running Ubuntu 8.04 64-bit (no windows on this 'puter, ever..." read more »

"But that particular machine was almost ten times as expensive, and for everyday use, the Titan 700 is usable...The question is whether it's a good one, and the most common answer will probably be ?no...But talking of price, an extra £100 will buy you a lot more...A rugged and mostly stylish unit with some serious flaws and underwhelming performance, the MSI Titan 700 ?micro' desktop is really only suitable for businesses that have multi-user XP licenses..." read more »
