Personally, I would like the sub to go A BIT lower...at least on paper...In listening to this sub in HT...I wasn't wishing for anything! I think this is the best sub BB carries..."

Reviews for this MartinLogan subwoofer (6 user reviews): "Sound spread and penetration, styling and total performance...The idea is that you can place a nickel on its edge on top of the sub, and it won't move or fall over while the sub is playing...but wait over the next 2 months it will slowly get louder and tighter and more detailed until you have to move the volume down to 3 or 4 from 9!!!!!!!! Martin Logan make the best stuff our there with out going above the 7K a pop mark..."

Reviews for this MartinLogan subwoofer (4 user reviews): "Excellent punch; tight controlled bass A little more than I wanted to pay, but glad I did While I was unable to hear the ML Dynamo 1000 in the Best Buy Magnolia studio, they had other Martin Logan products and an ML 10" subwoofer...I installed the system down-firing and settings as recommended with my Yamaha HTR 5990 AV Receiver and used the YPAO automated setup...I find it to be very clear, with excellent punch and tightly controlled bass..."

Reviews for this MartinLogan subwoofer (3 user reviews): "I demoed the 500,700, and 1000 series, and while all of them sounded good(particularly the 700 and 1000) I decided for my needs the 700 was perfect...I found the ports to muddle the bass a bit, and while I think ports can be a good thing in home theater I found that the 700 performed much better...I highly recommend this sub, especially for media rooms on the small side like ours at 12' x 22..."
