I am petite and my calfs are not large (12") and these boots fit me fine...There is no rubbing, good arch support, rubber soles, nice heel height...though I did order 1/2 size larger (7-1/2) for thick socks and they fit great...I have found that it is really hard to find a good fitting, comfortable boot that doesn't kill your feet, UNTIL NOW!!! These boots are made for walking! LOL They are really a very comfy boot..."
