Feel the need to always have extension cord Sorry to hear that bobbyr had such a bad experience with the device...I really like my 4GB model except that in order to feel that the I'm not putting too much stress on the USB port, I almost always use the adapter cable so that the device can rest on the table and not hang from the port...I sent the paper work in with the rebate before I checked the drive out..."

I have the 2008, smaller version of this and it has died after very little use..."
