Reviews for this Minox binocular: "as it got darker the moon appered (with lot more deer)and it was light enough to see the deer on the field on this wounderfull moon lit night...However, the bottom line is that you have to make things a lot brighter through a scope before they will have the same definition or brightness as through the binos...Minox sometimes have ex demo for 1/2 new price,that's how I got my 8.5 x 43,very good value..."

Reviews for this Minox binocular: "The new APO-HGs have dropped the shiny focus wheel (a good indicator of which model you looked at) and now tout ED glass and "apochromatic lens technology...A true APO should have color correction so good that the blur size of the most out of focus color remains so small that it can't be detected in the Airy disc of a focused star at high magnification...I specify overhead because our atmosphere in that area of the sky is the thinnest and therefore least susceptible to bad "seeing.") So if Jupiter or the moon shows color when they're as high in the sky as possible, then yes -- ED glass should improve that image..."
