"Optional traffic alerts Simple to use...High price Too many wires...Navman's latest satnav device can display live traffic data on its 3.5-inch touchscreen - but you'd better start saving if you want it...To be kept up to date with the length of your local tailback, you have to shell out £150 on the separate TM550 Traffic Module, on top of the iCN550's £560...Overall, this is a decent device, with clear 3D maps and voice directions as well as a handy, dedicated..." read more »
Retrevo's Recommendation: Buy with caution if you really want it

"Navman also designed the F20 to be simple and easy to use, and it certainly delivered on that promise...If you don't need multimedia features, the Navman F20 is a good GPS at a great price...The menu system on the F20 is built for simplicity...But although all of the maps are available, the F20 loads into memory only the data for the states you specify...The F20 shares some common features found on more expensive portable GPS devices..." read more »

GPS Specs: Running • Waterproof
Reviews: 3 expert reviews (rating 60 / 100) • 10 user reviews
"The blue-shelled R300 is the running model of the Sport.Tool?s range, released by Navman and displays options and data applications geared towards the needs of the distance runners...All operations are controlled by one of two mounded buttons on the R300?s top surface...With the variety of options, this initially leads to the going round in circles a few times, not greatly aided by the instruction manual that could be made clearer, but overall operations are fairly easy to grasp...Overall the R300 is a better tool for the open cross-country style runner, who wants to know more about the distance and duration of the run, rather than hyper-accurate sprint timings..." read more »

"Bright screen Loud, clear directions...Button pad 2D maps Lack of user-set points of interest...But the fold-up aerial holds the signal well enough, and you can always boost it with an external antenna if reception is bad - heated windscreens are often the culprit...If you can live without advanced features, this isn't a bad choice, but you can get better for less money......" read more »

"The major advantage 3D mapping has over conventional 2D systems is that your designated route spreads out in front of you just like real roads do, sometimes giving you a much better of idea of where you are and how the unit plans to get you to your destination...But even these flaws are forgivable, with the iCN 630 remaining one of the best satnavs we've ever seen..." read more »

"Loud, clear instructions...Large, bright screen...Fast re-routing...Plenty of maps....No touchscreen...Not the best maps...Poor controls....When you're flying round Hyde Park Corner, trying to work out which lane to get in, what you really need is someone omniscient in the car to tell you exactly where to go...Unfortunately, it's not a touchscreen like those on most of the 650's competitors - you have to rely solely on some spongy buttons to navigate the menus..." read more »

"Probably the best investment i have ever made for running; right up there with good shoes...I'm very pleased! Folks, if there's anybody out there thinking of getting fit, breathing in some good air and maybe lose a pound or two, one of the best ways is to get out on your 2 pins...Knowing down to the exact yard what kind of progress you're making does wonders for your motivation...you'll even be getting those training shoes on when it's minus 2 and snowing a blizzard! I can't recommend this device enough, go out and get one..." read more »

"256MB of Flash memory Navpix...No pedestrian mode Struggles to pick up signal in urban areas...A trip from London to Bournemouth was a good opportunity to try out the camera...The 4.5-hour battery life means you can take the N40i out of your car without fear of it dying prematurely, but the lack of a pedestrian mode leads to detours if you're navigating one-way streets and the like...After the shortest route on a certain satnav took us via a field, it's..." read more »

"The first thing that you'll notice about the N60i is that whereas it's approximately the same size as the iCN 750, (3.3 by 5.5 by 0.91 inches), the N60i is a quarter-inch thinner and has a larger, 4.3-inch screen...The N60i stores all of its map and POI data in 2GB of onboard flash memory...The N60i does not support text-to-speech, but the voice directions are good...Though I tend to prefer routes generated by Navteq-based GPSs, the routes that the N60i generated were similar and got me to my destinations...Overall, the Navman N60i represents a significant improvement over the iCN 750..." read more »

"Quick to set up; simple to use; combination of maps and voice instructions works well...Screen can sometimes be unreadable in direct sunlight; expensive...If your journey times in the car are often doubled as a result of questionable map-reading skills, a satellite navigation system, such as the Navman ICN510 V3, could prove to be an invaluable investment...Operating as a standalone unit, the Navman will quickly be able to guide you to any street address in..." read more »
