Reviews for this Outlaw receiver (9 user reviews): "Most work fine, but few of those "appliances," including some very good models, indeed, have any real character...Well, the Outlaw 1050 receiver has "character," and it couples that character with some very good performance...There are two optical and one coaxial-digital inputs, and each of those can be assigned to any of the input modes available on the front panel...The button layout is fairly good, although the one that engages the AM or FM radio function is not in with the group that contains the other input-selecting buttons..."

I haven’t complained much so far, it’s because there isn’t much to
complain about...My biggest gripes...In a market increasingly dominated by receivers competing over the number of flashy features they can squeeze into a black or silver box, Outlaw Audio stands apart by competing on the good old values of high-quality audio and solid video switching at a relatively low price...Not to suggest that the 1070 is in any way sparse on features or that it feels..."

Reviews for this Outlaw receiver (3 expert reviews (rating 85 / 100) • 6 user reviews): "Meet the Outlaw Audio RR2150 stereo receiver and the Totem Acoustic Sttaf speakers—oh, and the Outlaw LFM-2 subwoofer...It's the kind of show where you can just walk down the halls of the hotel exhibit space and let good sound lure you into demo rooms...The microdynamics of Thelonious Monk's piano were well preserved, which is a good thing, since this release featured the debuts of two then-new compositions, "Light Blue" and "Coming on the Hudson..."
