"Called Pioneer Electronics and told them about this recurring problem and asked if they recommend the CDX-FM1289 (their version with FM Modulator/can be connected via IP-bus also, so it is a direct swap...when it did work it was fine, but I wouldn't recommend it simply because of the short lifespan of this unit...I would not recommend this product even though I used to work for Pioneer 4 years ago..." read more »
