Reviews for this Rio cd player (21 user reviews): "Search the RioVolt SP150 in GOOGLE and like me, you'll find lots of US sites selling this product with lots of bad comments about it! I've done it too in the past and was terrified to see so many unpleased users...These are the main problems...As a straight forward CD player though..and when it plays MP3s on CD-Rs...it is pretty good..the sound quality is good, and it is all that you'd expect...However, the build quality must be pretty good because within hours I'd dropped the thing onto my stone kitchen floor, and it bounced without a scratch..." see less »

Reviews for this Rio cd player (87 user reviews): "Rechargeable batteries; excellent navigation and display; wired remote; FM tuner....Can't search songs by genre or year....But now, Sonicblue has countered with our new favorite MP3 CD player, the Rio Volt SP250...The Rio Volt SP250 may not be cheap, but its clever design, ease of use, and handy extras such as a leather carrying case make it well worth the money...The SP250 is the same size and weight as the original Rio Volt (5.1 inches by 5.8 inches by 1.2..." see less »

Reviews for this Rio cd player (18 user reviews): "The reason is this - the sound quality is very good (although a little weak with the bass boost off), it'll hold...But, for the price this is a good product...Cheap plays mp3 and cd plays cdrw - no hassle at all on a cd you can get..." see less »

Reviews for this Rio cd player (7 user reviews): "Has random, repeat and other special features...Also the delay between songs is at least 5 seconds!! Otherwise, it is a good product and worth the price consider I paid only $30 (price + s&h - rebate) for it...It took only a few minutes for my nine year old to program the Rio Volt to play random songs or in the order he specified..." see less »

Reviews for this Rio cd player (40 user reviews): "These are impressions of the cheapo GPX C3847 PCDP ($12.50 new at Target stores) verses the Rio Volt SP90 PCDP w/ MP3 support (a crippled, rebranded iRivier iMP-100, that retailed for $100 when I got it in 2002...The SP90 has an emphasised bass that was also a bit loose and wasn't very extended...The highs were very slightly "plasticy", though it wasn't nearly as bad as pre-burn-in..." see less »
