Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (6 expert reviews (rating 82 / 100) • 6 user reviews): "Great build; price; sound shows good integration and detail…......but lacks the slam of the best packages...This is the entry-level offering in Tannoy's well-established Arena range, using similar, distinctive-looking satellites to the higher-end Arenas – basically, if you think owls look cool, you'll love these...The major difference between this and the standard Arena system is the subwoofer, with this system supplied with the 300w TS10 bassbin...Other than..."

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (1 expert review (rating 80 / 100) • 1 user review.): "Generous scale and a huge soundstage for speakers at this level; great integration and winning top end...Not what you’d call a ferocious performer...Treble frequencies, especially, are easily differentiated and shine without any shrillness...If you judge value for money on a purely physical basis, then the Tannoy Mercury F2s could well be for you...Tannoy Mercury F2 review from the experts at whathifi.com......"

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (3 expert reviews (rating 85 / 100) • 2 user reviews): "Huge, 3D soundstage; surprising articulation and punch for a large, affordable floorstander...Look and feel a little basic; a little over-excitable at times...In this case, however, we're working the other way round, as these F4 Customs have previously only graced these pages as the front left and right components of the excellent Mercury F1 Custom 5.1 package...Like the Q Acoustics speakers on the page opposite, the F4s are designed to offer big-speaker qualities..."

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (1 user review.): "The new Precision 8 passive monitors offer a combination of outstanding sound, compact footprint and value for your studio...With 160-watt RMS power capacity, the Precision 8 sounds bigger than it looks...The Precision 8 gets much of its clarity from a cast-chassis Tannoy Dual Concentric driver...Another key benefit of the Precision 8's dual design is a very wide "sweet spot" with an exceptionally even response throughout the listening area and extraordinary transient response...Tannoy monitors have always excelled at resonance-free reproduction, and the Precision 8 is no exception..."

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (3 expert reviews (rating 80 / 100) • 1 user review.): "Powerful sense of scale; good dynamics; solid timing...Not the final word in outright clarity and finesse...Versatility is one of the key selling points of active speakers...These could be intimidating, but the manual does a good job of explaining things...This comes with a pre-calibrated microphone and cables that allow you to tune the set-up even further......"

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (1 expert review (rating 90 / 100) ): "Extremely revealing of detail
Excellent timbre and speed
Has an abililty to keep you listening...Looks more complete with the grille on but that muffles detail
Bass doesn't plumb the depths as much...The Glenair 10 is an attempt to bring an up-to-date aesthetic to Tannoy's classic, top-end Prestige loudspeaker range...The Glenair 10, with its narrower front baffle, is far more visually appealing to those of us not stuck in the 1950s...This particular box..."

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (1 user review.): "This product may look revolutionary, but it delivers the traditional holy grail hi-fi buffs the world over searh for: an analytical, technically quite restrained sound that also happens to be warm, dynamic and wholly involving...and amps from Musical Fidelity - the a308 pre/power amps & the nu-vista 3-D C.D...Ironically this was probably the cheapest of all the matching electronics I listened to, but it created a beautiful synergy (cables: Nordost Red Dawn), and it doesn't hurt that they also have beautiful, mininalist styling..."

Reviews for this Tannoy speaker (1 expert review (rating 80 / 100) • 1 user review.): "Punchy and taut sound; fine build; compact; good range of inputs...Other subwoofers at this price level can go deeper...Measuring 37x34x34cm, the TS-12 comes in a very well-built, but surprisingly light enclosure...The TS-12 will go loud, too, without sounding overstrained when pushed...Socket-wise, there are line-level inputs in both RCA (phono) and XLR flavours, with matching outputs limited to the latter...The only downside is that there are limits to its..."
