I would definitely recommend this as a fairly inexpensive gift for anyone who loves to show-off and hang-on to their photos...You have to remember that if you crop a low or mid resolution picture it is going to look fuzzy, no matter how good the device is, so make sure that the pictures you are using are high resolution (mine were all at least 1600 x 1200...Battery life is not as good as I would like it to be but it charges quickly..." read more »

"Easy enough to use, but even with the relatively small screen, the maximum resolution of 320 x 248 (or 320 x 234, depending on which part of the manual you believe) gives the photographs displayed an appearance which is less than what I expected...I really like how the frame looks, it not quite as modern looking as many of the digital frames, and the picture quality is also pretty good...Overall I am happy with the purchase..." read more »

"I tried every possible picture size and quality on the TAO trying to get it to look good, none did...On the philips every picture looked good on our first attempt!! At first the philips interface was a little more confusing then the TAO but after using them both for a few minutes the philips was actually easier to navigate around...What good is a remote control and more memory if the quality of the pictures are so bad..." read more »
