washburn says: If I remember correctly, I read on the forum that some people recommend buying a used WI64 for the money one would spend on a new WI14 (which can be modified, but a used guitar might also need mods, so probably both options mean some more money spent...Unlike a bolt-on (wi14), the wi64's neck is stable beyond belief...For someone coming from a strat, I did find the wi14's bridge to be easier to palm mute than the stop bar/bridge setup on the wi64...It definitely has better hardware than the wi14 - it looks to be the same as on the wi64...see more
