"But I must say that I've not yet auditioned the big ol' Day Sequerra's (hard to find in good condition), or the top Dynalab tube model, both of which probably would give a good accounting of themselves...If you find one in "good" or better condition, I suggest you jump on it immediately...I've listened to top of the range McIntosh, Revox and Marantz tuners and they just don't have the transparancy and overall musical quality the Yamaha has..." read more »

"This mouthpiece will play well and do anything you ask it to do (THAT INCLUDES THE ALTISSIMO.) A good choice not only because it plays well, but also because of its low price...It's definitely a great bargain, you just can't beat the price, and the quality is rather good...But, it is a good mouthpiece, so if your going to buy it, you might want to buy a mouthpeice saver too..." read more »

"10 This is a spinet organ an it is about 20 years old...But it showed no damage, so I can nearly say it is as good as new...It`s fully solid state and very robust so I can say it will last at least as long I have enough money to buy a good old Hammond..." read more »

"I would recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and in it for the fun of playing...Once I played this all of the bad feelings and thoughts of playing a Yamaha student mouthpiece as I studied with some of the most serious players around went away...Also remember its not just the mouthpiece that gives you a good sound, its truly how you use it..." read more »

"C5 - Tonally Brilliant! CS - Expensive! After you lay the new flooring, build the patio, polish the conservatory, the last and finishing addition to any 'grand' home is the 'grand' piano...It was important to us that our son hear music at a young age, and perceive very early the process...What I'm going to do right now is just give a briefing of how I thought of it......" read more »

"I have had a pair of Compact 7s in my flat for several months but their rolled off bass and treble ( regardless of their stunningly detailed and tonally accurate midrange ) leaves most beat driven music sounding dead...I’m curious as I also use C7s and find them anything but rolled off at the top, if anything I’d describe them as a little bright, a point which is also born out by their response plot (they are slightly ‘up’ around 12-15Khz...The thing I like about the C7s is their even handedness – I have a music collection that goes from baroque through some pretty wild and intense rock and jazz to banging techno and dub reggae etc, the Harbeths cope will all equally well..." read more »

"Brass presets sound very good, the others are responsive but not so realistic...The only effects are "Symphonic" - a sort of slow chorus effect that pretends to be a Leslie sim - and the vibrato, that is very simple but good...8 If it were lost or stolen I'd probably not buy another one..." read more »

"7 Presets are what you'd expect out of early 80's portable synths- i.e...No Opinion n/a Overall Rating : 7 It was worth what I paid, maybe more to someone in need of some organ sounds...I've only been able to find one other review of it..." read more »
