I love the fact that it can do so much with only one device...Buy it if you want to record video in areas you won't want to take your good camcorder in...Get it at Best Buy and try it out...

I would not purchase it with the idea of returning it if the unit did not work...Is there any other charger which would work, for instance, a cell phone charger...I can purchase a charger for about $25, but it would be a waste if the camera does not work...
