ALPINE CDA-9887 SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING

Ok, so I just go my new head unit put in and it has 10 times better sound output then my last deck a Clarion VRX755 (which is a DVD/CD player...Anyhow I would recommend the Alpine CDA-9887 to anyone that wants better sound quality...

I think its a 1-bit, with 24bit resolution...Add to that, 24bit processing utilises 5th Order Delta Sigma Modulators, and therefore outputs ~-120dB of SNR (theoretically it should be -160dB), which is as good as the dynamic range of the human ear...Now here is my understanding as to why 24-bit is more desirable...

I just went to a local shop and demoed an Alpine CDA-9887...First of all, of course it sounded good...Nice, easily readable display, clean looks, not too many buttons, good sound quality, and the SQ features are back...

After alot of reading, I've decided against a DD install and want to go with the Alpine CDA-9887...Anyone have experience with new Alpine units and IMPRINT...

Thanks to nismos and reading up on many reviews and comparisons, I settled on the CDA-9887...First glance is straight and to the point...Overall I'm very happy with the head unit after about a weeks worth of usage...
