I simply connected the SSD to my 1000H via the aforementioned cable and used Norton Ghost 14 to copy the disc as per the manual?s simple instructions...Overall I experiened a VERY noticeable increase in performance, 55% on average...My little ASUS 1000H is now a smoker...Sorry, I don't have the other apps you list installed, but I doubt they would be much different from the...

I own both, the MSI Wind and the Asus EEE PC 1000h...Hmm the 1000H uses a 4200 rpm hard drive, that's going to be really slow...But this is a pretty good price for the 1000H which also makes it a contender in my book...I got tired of waiting for the MSI Wind and purchased 1000H last week...

Please read the last few posts by phoenix and myself, they are talking about the relevant driver...I did read something on the mailinglists about a bad firmware for ral, maybe you should ask someone there...The driver phoenix references will work under FreeBSD 7 for sure - yongari just posted on -questions saying so...

I can tell you for a fact I have the RT2860 drivers installed right now and they work perfectly...This could also explain why I am about the only one that has had good results with the new drivers from ralinks site after updating from the stock Asus stuff while everybody else has had bad things happen...May be some bad info floating around and people getting the wrong stuff :P...

I am no expert, but it seems too small to be a backlight issue, it looks as if there is a drop of liquid on the screen...Maybe an imperfection in the screen coating...ASUS Eee 1000H bright spot - Futuremark / YouGamers Forums...
