The thing is touch screens for the most part are just gimicky and pointless, the mouse outdoes it...Message contents are opinions from customers based on their own experience with a product...We do not recommend you make puchasing decisions based on Forum messages...

Since it turned out newer 901s don't have ZIF, I thought of gathering model and revision info for future buyers (in case ZIF presence really depends on these numbers...Has anyone bought their EEE 901 from newegg and it have the zif socket...BTW, why are we calling this a ZIF socket...

I think 901 is not worth the extra 50 bucks over eeepc 900...1.First of all new design is sort of cheap compared to 900...3.Who would actually need wireless N on this little thing...The 900 is cheaper, so if keep your unit plugged in most times and you always sit near the wifi station, then the 901 is over kill...
