Asus is prepping Intel Atom based models 904 and 905 with 8.9 inch screen, but on the EeePC 1000 chassis...I'm currently contemplating on buying either 900/901 or 1000 (not H) and as it seems 901 won't be available with 20GB version soon (if at all) should I just wait for new ones...that models 900 and 901 will be dropped...
Supposed to get the EEEPC 904HD but got the 904 model (without the ‘HD’ suffix) which is exactly the same as the former feature wise...The price for the 904: RM 1399 from Low Yat...In my previous post, I did recommend to avoid getting models like the 904 because it used the slower Celeron processor as opposed to the new Atom N270 and N280...
To me the clear plastic case provide a good measure of scratch protection with very light weight...I surmised since the 904 series uses the 1000 series chassis, there's a good chance the cases would be interchangeable...I would also believe any of the tooled leather cases for the 1000HA should fit our 904's as well...
