Always a better idea to configure stuff manually...We do not recommend you make puchasing decisions based on Forum messages...I reconnected via wire and it worked, then the connection went bad and I couldn't get it back, so now I am back on my original wired router wondering if my 2.4 GHz phone is going to mess up my wireless router...

Also yes I did create a custom password...It is recommended that you set a Password, if you plan remote management feature of your router...It states on the snapshot, the default = leave blank...

Yes, and I do, and the stock firmware is really buggy...BTW, I don't think editing the user.conf worked because I am able to access a web server on my LAN through my WAN IP on a different computer on my LAN...I'd be glad to test dd-wrt on mine...

even with the internet light flashing constantly (meaning the internet is not connected according to Belkin's manual...I deleted all of the software that came with the router and got it working fine...I can't connect my remote computers wirelessly via the Belkin G Plus MIMO router on my Powermac...
