There are lot of people who would like a good sounding earbud that doesn't have to be crammed down the ear canal, if the Bose are those then "not really being inear" is a feature, not a bug...When you could instead get a pair of more trustworthy phones where arguments are more opinionated about how upfront they are rather than if they are plain good or bad...Too...
Some folks may not like the quite snug pressure on their heads either, but it's not that bad and doesn't take long to get used to (or didn't for me anyway...A good fit that stays put is hard to find for me at least...These details can make a very big difference on the type of headphones that are a good match for your needs...
I'm looking to get a system for listening to music by earjack while riding on the bike...Even good noise cancelling headphones (like the Bose) require sound blockage which is why their headphones cover the entire ear...They are way different than the standard ear buds and really do a good job of blocking background noise...
I got the Bose Triport IEs for Christmas, and they are so bad it is nearly funny (not "real" IEs either...It's too bad that the JAYs aren't compatible with shure foamies, though...Ironically, the cable appears to be the only bad point...
The problem is that the dang things pop off so easily from the headphones, necessitating this purchase in the first place...Do to negligence on my part, i needed new replacement tips for my Boseheadphones...Fine, just what my son asked for...
