I can't speak for the s820, but I can tell you that the s900 I bought, prints as good as I have ever seen from regular photo labs...The S820 has fewer ink tanks I think, and the cost is a little less...Concerning S820 vs S900 ink tank, they are the same and capacity seems to be really good...

This seems like an odd pair to compare as they are actually in two distinctly different classes and the Ixux 900Ti is head and shoulders above the Optio W20...If you really don't want to read reviews, I am still happy that I am got the Canon SD900 and this would be my recommendation for anyone at this point, since it is what I chose for myself...
