Any advice on choosing between the Nikon P60 and the Cannon A720 IS...I used to have a small Nikon - model 5600 or similar - which I am 'replacing...The cannon is slighly larger and heavier, but it has a selection on the dial for 'kids& sports', and it has a better zoom (6x instead of 5x), but no internal memory...

awsome! thanks spypet my dad made me go to my room for the night so i cant try tonight though...Is this a good camera for taking shots of fish and shrimp...I would get a cheap tripod, or deskpod you can use near the aquarium glass, and you can really take some amazing photos after a little experimentation...

I ve been putting the aperture on 2.8 but still everything appears to be in focus ? its like Its really disappointing...That's, unfortunately, not something any of the PowerShot line is good at, or even really meant for...And even at telephoto, your A720's lens is about the same focal length as the wide end of a kit lens on an EOS 400D...

I made a reference shot with my 60 mm Nikon macro lens, since I know this to be a fairly sharp lens...The image stablization is a real plus and the added zoom range ain't so bad either...You have to at least TRY to hold still...

What is a better choice between the Canon A720 IS or SD400 as far as image clarity, zoom, image stabilizer ect...Having more mega pixels would be good since you'd only have 3X optical zoom...The A720 is an awesome camera and probably the route I'd go if I were shopping now...
