The resolution is 300 x 300 and he said that works out to about 4800 x 2400, not bad he said for a 4 x 6...He said with the ES1 the paper and ink cartridge are all sealed together and so the chance of dust is virtually non existent and that there was a door that latched over this film/paper cartridge...I am not to clear on how the 2 models do the dye sublimation process on the paper and how the Selphy...

I'm deciding between the Selphy CP-740 and ES2, both dys-sub printers as far as I know, and I could use some opinions...while my Epson R800 PHOTO prints superb photos, it drinks ink like crazy and I simply cannot afford to keep it running anymore...I usually do not print larger than 4x6, and so I'm thinking of getting either the Selphy CP-740 or the ES2...So, any users of either or both models care...
