CANON FS100 FORUMS & BLOGS

I was originally looking at the Panasonic SDR-H18 or the SDR-H40 but the FS100 image quality seems to blow both of those away...I'd post my SDR-H40 sample clip if I had a site to put it on (it's ~23 MB) just so everyone could see the difference in picture quality...

There aren't many HDD cameras to begin with in the Canon line up, and the specs for the one that I did find does not mention MOV files...Since I'm definitely not an Apple fan, I can't be sure of the above...canon website says mpeg-2 but will the files be .mpg or .mov...

With the little one due for arrival in early July I'm due for getting myself a camcorder for those moments that may or may not be appreciated at the time but definitely will be later...So far I've found Canon FS100 and JVC Everio GZ-MG330...Unlike the JVC GZMG330, the new JVC GZMS100 is the closest JVC model to Canon FS100...
