Ive heard alot of good things about the HF100 and I had my mind made up to get it until the Canon vixia HFS100 came out...I know theres not much info on the HFS100 yet but it look like it may do the trick...Well, I'm pretty sure the HF100 works with FCE because I helped someone configure FCE to use it in this thread...

Keep pressing that and the overlay will disappear...If you like the images on your LCD/Plasam screen right out of the Z7 (via HDMI), then you won't be disappointed with the results from the nanoFlash...Just musing, but does this mean that other cameras that have the ability to accept an external viewfiner essentially also have access to an uncompressed source...

Mike, since I had the FX7 for awhile, I can agree with Flinty in that its image quality is very good...Considering all of the factors that make up a good camcorder, this really is a very strong competitor...You make a good point; however, to be quite honest - I have never used on of those lenses on my camcorders...

I don't believe I've even bothered to take a shot with it since getting my G2...The S100 is small and light and...babysits the house when I go out...
