Does anyone have any comments on the Epson PM-A920 or the Canon MP810...I figure it's probably not the highest quality film scanning, but guess it might be good enough for scanning an accumulated pile of home negatives...

However as you can read in my review of that whilst it was good, well made and reliable it was not fast enough...Overall the printer appears to be more solid than the HP did but the HP was a budget printer and the S800 runs in at ?100...The paper feeds in through the rear and before you can say 'Wow that was quick and such good quality' the printed page appears...

I have recently bought a Canon Pixma MP810 printer / scanner / copier...I've checked all the Canon regional websites (Americas, Europe/Middle East, Asia, Oceania) and none of them seem to carry Linux drivers for this specific printer...

If the code is hard to read, then just try to guess it right...The documentation on this SUCKS, but apparently I figured it out...The printer thinks the inner cover is open as it does not close flush against the frame of the printer...
