if in fact it is even possible...You can't tell it from the video at all though, because you don't really have any steady reference point except for the plane for a few seconds which isn't any good of a reference...Have someone assist you aiming by folding out the monitor, zoom in all the way an tell the helper what you are aiming at...

I spent ages researching camcorders and finally bought the MV650i...Screen and viewfinder are both good, and the 22x zoom is fantastic...The only regret that is creeping up on me is firstly why I paid more for the MV650i than going for the MV600i...

I've a 650i and no noise issues here...I've a 650i and no noise issues here...can hear a ticking noise which appears to be coming fron the Camera...

This is my first digital video recorder...The MV650i is a heck of a lot more expensive than its cheaper sibling, and really the differences in features don't justify the added cost...Having got that off my chest, I can say that the camcorder is am excellent one, with good quality detailed images, plenty of digital effects options and good software to go with it...

I have had a Canon MV650i for over 2 years now & have had no problems...On another note, are the JVC Everio GZ-MG21 & MG77 or GZ-MC200EK any good as I've seen mixed reviews...
