I finally gave in when the 750i came out this year, as it has new audio filters to reduce the motor noise, and I paid a very healthy price for it...Battery life is pretty good and the camera feels sturdy and comfortable to use...If you're recording interviews and so on, or need just a little more sound quality, go for a more expensive model, but otherwise this is a fantastic piece of kit...I would...

I have a mini dv camcorder (MV750i) and a vhs tape recorder (Sony SLV-F900 UX...I have been following the instructions in the instruction manual (page 81) but can't get the camcorder to receive an image on the camcorder screen...if i then press play the top right hand of the screen states REC which it good...

My Canon MV750i dv camcorder just will not power up using the battery or power adapter...The camera has not had much use (4-5 tapes) and the problem came to light suddenly from cold mode when I first received just a white display in play mode and no picture in camera mode...

I took this camera on safari, and as I am not a great photographer, I wanted one that was easy to use...all of which are clear, and the close-ups of the lions alone are good enough to see individual taste buds on the tongue...If you want a straight forward point and shoot Digital Video camera with stills ability, that also has plenty of extras for when you feel a little more ambitious, then the Canon...
