The 6 pin end is for your Mac...If that is the case what camcorders would you recommend that are proven to work with iMovie 08...The 4 pin end is for the camera...

We recently bought two MVX250i and they've been perfect, but now I am trying to buy another 4 I can't find anywhere that sells them...It would also be preferable if the model is Canon as we have bought a couple of DM50 mics and Canon lights - it would be good to be able to use these on the new cameras...Any suggestions, either sources for 4 mvx250i's or recommendations of...

I recently bought a Rode Videomic for use with my Canon MVX250i / Elura 65...a) The audio level seems to change dramatically depending on if there is noise or not...b) The mic doesn't sit at all snuggly in the hot-shoe mount, so much so that it slides out the back when the camera is titled upwards, even just slightly...

I am thinking of getting a mini-DV camera and after a fair bit of searching around I have concluded that the MVX250i may be ideal...I have noticed that a lot of people slate the canons because of noise but apparently the MVX250i is one of the few canons to exhibit normal levels of noise from the tape drive and it has even been suggested is quieter than the HC40...So, can anyone who has...
