I have a question about the 1100 that I could use some help with- according to Canon's website ( http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro...When I asked the employees at both Best Buy and Circuit City, they said the sd1100 doesn't have scene selections...I can't really help you with the SD1100, especially if the employees at Circuit City and Best Buy attempted...

The countryside reminds me of upstate NY and the woods of NH but we don't have any beautiful old castles here in the US that I know of...I would definately recommend it!! Not sure about the other one though...Good news for me is yesterday I got a deal on the canon SD870 so I finally decided to purchase it...
