I was reading the user reviews,for the SD950,and noticed this comment,in the Problems area...Has anyone seen mention of this "Pink Banding" within the SD950 IS...I haven't seen this mention within the SD950 specifically,that is...It was in the User review area,at the Canon model page,within the SD950 IS User Reviews...

Took a bunch of test shots and cropped them down for review...I picked up the Fuji at Best Buy last weekend...I think the photos could be optimized a bit more by adjusting some of the shots...

Compact cameras can only get so small before they start taking a hit on image quality...Mind you picture quality isnt great but definatly good enough for a camera that small...That's too bad; I'll have to pick one up, as I had been hoping for a true successor with wide-angle capabilities...

I have both, and for image quality I prefer the SD890...Now, that being said, shooting in manual with sharpness, contrast, and saturation all ramped up, the photos are pretty good, but not great...It has less zoom than the 890, but build quality looks good, and maximum aperture is greater, if I'm not mistaken, compared to the 890...
