Those are some pretty good options compared to throwing on ANOTHER piece of glass to a fixed lens just to get a wider FOV...DVD, HDs are fragile and go bad...While I love ot just shoot and dump onto my computer, I now have no good way of storing them...

This is Canon's S upgrade of the original XL H1...The XL H1S and H1A are the removable lens versions of the XH A1 and XH G1 cameras...The XL H1A sells for about $6K today...Of course, Canon wants you to buy their wide angle lens for the XL series, which is probably why they don't give you a wide enough lens to begin with...
