The quality of the plastics is better too, though not all that good still, the out tray is still really flimsy, I can imagine just a gentle push would snap the thing...So, the printer is generally good in a functional way, but what does it print like...Photo printing takes longer, and on the max setting it can take around 20-30 seconds per photo, which still really isn't that bad considering the quality...

I am considering getting a new printer, either the Canon iP4500 or Epson R280...Is the iP4500 boot up or turn on cycle fairly quick...I see a lot of positive comments about the iP4500, but also some negatives about people getting a red hue...

I bought a Canon IP4500 a few weeks ago...I have tried changing the colour management profiles that came with it, but to no avail...It doesn't matter what app I use to print the image from, it is still the same...

I would like to have a wide range lens...I consider this a good camera, but difficult to use, because of the many settings and "hidden" menus, and its tendency to want to take flash pictures when you don't...I see and like two models above, canon for the 10x optical zoom (37- 350mm converted to 35mm), a 58mm filter size, and manual shot mode, but with 2,6 MPix...

My reasons for choosing the Epson were that the newest Canon model, IP4500, is not yet available in stores here...I've yet to see a Watershield disc come out looking bad on either printer...On all tested media, use of the Epson "premium CD/DVD" setting is recommended based on my tests...I finally broke down and got a Canon IP4500...
