Hi, I now have a choice between two cameras, the Casio EX-V7 and the Ricoh R6 but don't know which to go for...Reading all the reviews I think the overall build and picture quality is better from the Ricoh, but the Casio has a lot more in built functions such as shutter & apature priority and manual overides...I like the thought of the Casio with its extra...

Hopefully it comes in some more colours than just silver, I personally tink it would look great in red...But it could, if good enough in image quality, replace my pocket-cam, since I prefer to shoot with larger cams and value ultracompacts for their go-anywhere capability...All of this talk of features is fine, but what we are really wanting is good performance, in stills and video...

I need some help/comments on the EX-V7 CCD shift antishake feature...As per the manual p.123 and Casio web side FAQ, the camera is supposed to ?vibrate? when the Camera Shake is employed...The manual and web FAQ are even more confusing about settings (like ISO) required for the antishake to work...I would appreciate other EX-V7 owner?s comments and observations on...

Sadly, we're still waiting for that day, as reviewers at PopPhoto deflated our hopes that a wicked zoom could in fact be stuffed into an ultracompact without sacrificing image quality...Overall, I think the reviewer was expecting dslr performance out of a subcompact camera...I think what Casio has come up with is pretty impressive...

The quality of the EX-V7 photographs aren't as good as the TZ3, but most people would probably not notice though...Personally, even though the EX-V7 isn't getting reviewed that well for it's photo quality, I'd probably lean towards it, as it is very compact, and the quality of the Movie Mode is supposed to be very good, and it records in STEREO...
