I just bought a new camera the 10MP Casio EX-Z1000...Shutter lag is not too bad-only annoyance is that on standby mode you have to push a red camera button to reactivate the camera, just pushing the shutter button does not do anything...

This is my review of the recently released Casio Exilim EX-Z1000...I've been trying out the EX-Z1000 for about three weeks, and I am thuroughly satisfied with its picture quality and overall performance...The interface is incredibly easy to get used to, and the camera is so stylish and compact that it's good to use at almost any location...Overall, I think...

I have that bad feeling its going to bomb like the new Exilim Z850 that just got reviewed...I think its a case of bad sensor choice on top of other things...I'm kinda skeptical about the Z1000...The Panasonic FZ30 drew alot of attention...So what do you guys and gals think about the Casio EX Z1000...

I had a 3.8 Mega-Pixel Exilim and loved the size, functionality and features of the Exilim line of Digitals, so I picked up the 10.1 MP EX-Z1000 for everyday use, and I mean every day...A month to 6 weeks back, the EX-Z1000 started requiring re-entry of the setup of the date/Time/time-zone/ etc, every time I powered the camera on...
