I use photoshop to edit my photo's and i do a lot of detail work, so perhaps to the average consumer the picture quality is okay...But the noise on pictures taken by the S770 is pretty bad...I rather sit back on the couch and press 1 button on the remote...

It is also good for older people who dont use technology as much as anyone can use due to its simplicty...The quality of the picture is good in daylight but as soon as its dark no matter how many settings i try the picture mostly is blurry...Overall i would say its a well rounded, good for your money, compact camera...
