A few months ago I purchased a Dell 6000d not a bad machine paid 1000 with coupon had x300 (128mg) and a 1.86 WiFi etc...The X300 in the dell was just not giving me the performance I needed in the latest games, HLS Doom III etc...I had 3 basic criteria?s not in any order video card, looks and weight...

I have a Dell M60 Laptop with a Nvidia Quadro FX Go 1000 Graphic-Card...I could play World of Warcraft for example with 800x600 with minimum/middle details without AA and AF and have only ~ 20-25 fps...Flash the BIOS from the Quality-based Nvidia Quadro FX Go 1000 to an non-Quadro with more performance...I always used the Quadro FX 1000 drivers from the forceware driver...
