Can't Format DVDs on Dell B130 - Roxio Community

I have a Dell Inspiron B130 notebook that came pre-installed with Sonic Digital Media LE7 installed...Until recently I have had no problem formating and writing DVDs through Windows Explorer by simply right clicking on my (D:) drive and selecting "Format" from the popup window, then dragging and dropping or copying and pasting the files I want to burn to DVD to the (D:) drive...

Six months ago my husband purchased a Dell B130, he was extremely careful with the computer...Then he called the tech support only to be told to bad you did not buy the extended warranty so we can't help you...Also on yahoo reviews of the b130 a guy also had the problem of the cracked screen at 6 month...Before the B130 cracked we had bought my stepdaughter a refurbished...

also, 6000 has svideo, 4usb ports as opposed to 3 on the b130, firewire, and other stuff...if you need a lappy now, this is a very good price on a perfectly capable laptop...My guess Inspiron 6000 should be better than B130 -- they are different catagory...The overall performance is not simply determined by CPU speed, bus speed and HD speed etc affect the overall performance greatly...

Are there any other ways to get a driver...on your vga port, break off a paperclip, and connect it from the last hole on the second row to the second to last hole on the third row...thanks a bunch man will get back whether it works or does not...
