In my system I have a Sony 530 DVD, Denon AVR-3300 A/V receiver, and a Toshiba 36X81 television...Denon AVR-3300 - Here is the biggest problem...I was thinking of OPTION mapping for the extended functions, but there really are not suitable key names to do a good job...What I would like would be able to assign multiple codes to the regular keys...
I will be feeding these preouts to the AVR 3300's analog inputs...My question is, does anybody know whether or not the 3300's analog inputs are FULLY analog...for an old soul like the 3300, it's pretty much guaranteed that the EXT IN inputs are analog-only and it will basically be functioning just as an amplifier with zero processing...
Not because of the infamous fan problem, but due to the DD and DTS decoders emitting nothing but static...I am wondering if the delay in getting new units was due to Denon fixing the well known fan problem because mine has been flawless...Also, refurbs only have a 90 day warranty, at least mine did...
A friend of mine recently purchased a Denon3300 and is currently using some 15 year old Polk bookshelf speakers...I know that speakers are a personal choice, but I am not that familiar with the 3300s amp section capabilities...Paired with the "warm" sound of the Denon3300, they sound great...I have the Titans, but have heard the 3300 paired with a couple...
The DenonDVD-3300 is listed as if it doesn't play DVD+R disc's, it does and does it very well, also DVD+RW as listed...I use a NEC ND-1100A DVD+ writer...For one layer copy's I use DVDecrypter to rip and burn and for 2 layer copy's I use DVDencrypter to rip, copy2one to shrink and Nero express to burn, the nero software comes with the writer...
