Yes, maybe a good test that at least Stereophile can do with speakers would be in order to see what that nominal 4 ohms would bottom out at and how wide of a bandwidth...I wonder because all the Yamaha models that Audioholics (and others) have bench tested have handled a 4 Ohm lode, and yet Axiom dose not recommend them, but they do recommend Harman/Kardon, but I have seen H/K receivers that have difficulty...
