As far as choosing between the AJ-1 and the DR-100, I would go with the AJ-1 at musiciansfriend.com...I would consider the AJ-1 and DR-100 as equivolent entry level guitars selling for $99 but has a lower list price...If you have a little more money I'd recommend the AJ-100CE ($149 at musiciansfriend.com), a very good price and has a SOLID spruce...
