I prefer the Alleykat for its fat sound and its bluesy jazz sound...I've never heard of the alleykat, but fender instruments in general are higher quality than epiphone unless it's a higher end epiphone and assiming it's an actual fender and not a squire...

So much as P-90's work well, the narrow area of the one mini works well on the Alleykat...Othewrwise, sure the 57's will be quite good in my view...bigorange , this might seem kind of random, but do you know whether the bridge pickup on your Alleykat is an “AlNiCo Classic” or an “AlNiCo Classic Plus...have you made up your mind on the neck pickup yet...
