I wasn't aware that Epiphone had a "Masterbuilt" Hummingbird model...If you're talking about the Hummingbird that they do list, there's quite a difference between that one and the Gibson...For the price, the Epiphone isn't too bad...I actually like the masterbilt line for a beater or haul around guitar I have never seen a Masterbilt hummingbird...
Just like mostly any acoustic guitar the Hummingbird has 20 frets and its shape is the shape of a dreadnought acoustic...The Hummingbird sounds even better with a capo...I chose the Hummingbird because of better reviews and a killer paint job...The only way to amp the Hummingbird is through a mic...

Last night, I went to visit GC with my dad, seeking the Hummingbird...However, they had both the Gibson and EpiphoneHummingbird, which I was eager to try ever since I saw it on BrightEyes' "Four Winds" video...soft as a hummingbird's flight and sweet as the nectar it drinks...
It was in the same price range as the Hummingbird...If the Hummingbird is made in the same factory, then that's certainly a plus...I personally don't think that an Epi Hummingbird would be much of a step up from your Sigma, fmw...You're getting that guitar for about $100 off the average street price, a deal you could probably find fairly quickly on a used Epi Hummingbird...
