Well, yeah, the LP-100 is higher, but methinks it's not enough of a diff to be a good seller...Face it, all the guys that bought these recently only did so because it was practically a freebie ($50) bundled with a good amp...Remember, as far as Gibson/Epiphone is concerned, it's all about sales and the bottom line...
Even though they are rather good (Epiphone, that is...Theyre at least as good as (if not better than) a $500 guitar but cheap due to no spending on advertising, and because theyre sold direct by the company...It is good beginner guitar, but im definatley looking for an upgrade...
I've never played one myself but they are supposed to be very good for the money...I've never heard anything but good thigns about those guitars...you could get that but itd not really as good as the standard one...
