very good pickups, way better than I thought for this kind of money...the volume pots are sensitive and have a good full range...but it feels good and doesn't wear me down to have it on for long periods...
Of course it was made overseas (it's an Epiphone) but the quality of the guitar is really good...All in all I think this is a severally good guitar...Not great (I'm comparing it to the original Les), but good...Warlock to this guitar, I always thought Warlocks were the best guitar for playing metal but this guitar is just as good if not better than it...

I've seen the problem with tuning be more often related to the nut than the tuners...I swapp the tuners, the bridge, the knobs, got a custom truss rod cover, I'm also swapping the pickups for set of zebra Gibson 490R/498T pickups...My Epi LP Studio is getting a complete makeover...
