The 1/4" jack on the bass was not screwed in right in that the threads were stripped and I was unable to re-tighten...How Epi can make this so good for so cheap is beyond me...I would not recommend this bass, but my preference is Ibanez, anyway...

Then I tried one out and the neck IMO was endlessley long and the neck dive was unbearable...Heard a guy playing one through an Ampeg B50R with a mic in front and it sounded really good...Use a thick leather strap, the ones with rough leather at the back, and you should be fine...

Plugged into an Acoustic B200 1x15 this bad boy growled and shook the house, then I tone it doen to some soft mellow jazz tones...this bad boy is beautiful! What a stunning finish with a darker sunburst, high gloss lacquer...overall its an excellent bass for the price and it'll last a long time...
