You can use the previous and next buttons to scroll through the messages in this thread...Used it on the 850 and now the 3000 with good results in manual mode at 1/60 and set the arpeture to the scale on the back of the flash...I bought a Vivitar 2800 at ritz for $50...

One forum poster stated that the E550 12MP interpolated pics seemed worse overall than keeping it at 6MP setting--the poster was a digital photography lecturer/professor btw...The Super CCD HR sounds sensible (or is it hype?) and Fuji has a good reputation for quality shots...Which one you would recomend for take good quality pics in auto mode and also in manual...
