I have had a bug in my head that I should go with Epson because I have heard very good things over the years...B&H told me if I will do some B&W, the Canon Pixma 9500 is better than the Epson R1900...Anyone have experience with both the Canon PIXMA 9500 and the Epson R1900...I am sure THEY recommend it, but I would guess Ilford papers are nice and may like...

1) Pros that love glossy prints (2) Small graphic design shops and graphic designers, and (3) Advanced amateur photographers...Its a love hate relationship with these printers — I love what they can produce, I hate the overall cost (ink, paper, printer and calabration...

Images are vibrant and long lasting with the new Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2 ink.Print and share superb photos with the Epson Stylus Photo R1900 and achieve quality, color and flexibility to create your hobbies and crafts...I am an older, final year photography student...The quality is just as good, if not better, than what the R1800 printer produces at school, which is the great...

Does the R1900 have the same ink set as the R2400...My understanding (Probably imperfect) is that the R1900 is the top of the Amateur / Enthusiast line whereas the R2400 is the entry level of the Professional line...Just checked Wharehouse Express cat, R1900 has an Ultrachrome gloss 2 Pigment set, PK,MK,C,M,Y, Red, Orange, no LK, LLK, LC or LM...
