GARMIN NUVI 200 SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING

I gotta find some bad things to say about it...I finally picked up a Nuvi 200 the other day and had a chance to compare it to my old iPAQ with a dated version of Mapopolis and Holux CF Receiver SiRFII...Often the Nuvi tells me I'm 200+ feet away when I'm on top of the turn and I haven't been driving too fast...I'm getting used to the lack of a qwerty keyboard...

There are some great deals to be had on eBay for "outdated" models that will work really well (I've seen some of the Lowrance iFinder color handhelds go for under $50) Garmin units, on the other hand, tend to fetch a premium price on eBay...It's a simple thing, but it's the seperation line between a good on-road GPS and something that you can rely on in the bush...I was...

I wish that i could upload routes created on my PC, but i am unable to with this model...However, so far, I have found NO way to SAVE the changes...Has anyone else tried to save "Via Point" in either the 200 series, or the 1200 series...

I've been using a Dell x50v and an Ambicom GPS all this while...Now I just got a Garmin Nuvi 200 and I can say, wow...It doesn't do tracking and you can only have one route at a time but it does save your POIs/Favorites, you can find streets and the usual POIs easily as the serach algorithm is very fast...
