My 255w is showing that I am using both the new 2010 map as well as the 2009 map...The other question I have is about routes, I bought my wife a megellan road mate 1212 and It gives you a variety of ways to route your trip, I like the freeway...to go from Fallston, Maryland to Norristown PA...

Does a TomTom One XL work better overall than a Garmin Nuvi 255w...It comes with text-to-speech, and is still cheaper than Garmin nuvi 255w...

The accesory pack and the car holder were really a good price compared to buying locally...Overall, I think it's a great value and that it's simple and intuitive enough for any age of user...It's so easy to use and has helped me out so much that I'd recommend it to anyone...

Never had problems with that one...This item is available online and in stores...I had the other Garmin which did not call out street names and I should have kept it...
